DANIEL DUREN is a playwright from St. Paul, Minnesota. This spring his play, Somnium, was developed and showcased at La MaMa as a part of the Morgan Jenness Experiments in Playwriting Fellowship (initial development; the Hermitage Retreat, Yaddo, and Ragdale). Recent productions include; Self Tape at Theatre Row, (received “Best Play” by Downtown Urban Arts Festival), and Formido at Theatre Row (The Nationals: 24 Hour Plays). His audio drama, Give Me a Wildfire, premiered at La MaMa this fall and is available to stream on all podcast platforms (also developed at Hermitage). He currently works under the mentorship of Samuel D. Hunter.
